Acting Vice-President, Chief of Staff and Corporate Secretary – Katherine Murphy

Biographical Snapshot:

• Katherine Murphy is the acting Chief of Staff and Corporate Secretary for the Canada Energy Regulator (CER).  Responsible for the Executive Office, Katherine leads a team of policy and administrative professionals with direct support to the Chief Executive Officer.
• As Corporate Secretary, Katherine leads the secretariat support to the CER Board and Directors and Indigenous Advisory Committee.
• Previously, Katherine led organizational efforts to implement engagement-related aspects of the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, as well as leading change and project management around data visualization and innovation.
• Katherine has 20 years of experience in the federal public service focused on communications, public relations, marketing, and project management.
